Promising defender who came up through the ranks at Sunderland. Was signed by Lennie Lawrence in July 2001 along with a whole load of inexperienced kids.
Morgan established himself well in the reserve side, but the defender struggled to ever make an impression on the first team. Morgan never even made the bench, and was released before the end of the season, joining non league Gateshead.
