Surprisingly tidy centre back who we signed from Colchester United in July 2003. Edwards was described as "a waste of space, nothing special, he will be at North Ferriby United before you know it" by some fans of his former club Hull City.
However he impressed Paul Groves on a trial and he was given a year's contract to prove himself to the club, which he did (one thinks now that Hull fans are either blind or they did not even watch him).
Was offered a fresh deal for the following season, but decided to move to Notts County, where his first year with The Magpies has been plagued with injury.
