Town Sign Defender On Season Loan

SIMON Grand has today joined the Mariners as an emergency loanee until the end of the season from Carlisle United where he is on contract until the Summer.
Described as an efficient centre back who is a proven goal snatcher and was signed by his former manager at Rochdale, Paul Simpson.
Spent most of his time in the reserves he is regarded as an asset by Carlisle who are not presently thinking of releasing him.
