ALAN Buckley has made further moves to consolidate his squad with the announcement that he has signed Ciaran Toner for a further two years.
Buckley is not letting the grass grow under his feet as he has almost completely sorted his team out for next season. Almost, as he has stated his aim to sign a good class striker and in addition to that, there is a chance he will be looking at who is available on loan.
He knows he needs additional players and the loan scenario may suit him but they have to be able to play a good passing game before he even looks at them.
To be almost completed at this time of the season bodes well for Town inasmuch as they will all get to know each others style of play early so we will not hear too much about that silly bonding process one would hope.
Good move again Mr. Buckley! Further good news is that Lincoln have warmed up Wembley for us! If we need it that is.
