Ricky Ravenhill

Midfielder who signed a few games into the 06/07 season from Doncaster Rovers along with Nick Fenton. Started out as a trainee with Barnsley in the 2000/2001 season but failed to ever make an appearance for the Tykes.

Ravenhill signed for Doncaster Rovers midway through the 2001/2002 season and became an instant hit, helping Rovers to promotion from the Conference the following season and yet again from League Two the season after.

Ricky was expected to sign on a free transfer to Chester City in pre-season but a move fell through and he spent 1 month on loan at the Deva Stadium before moving to Blundell Park.

Ravenhill's Town career was not a successful one, and he lasted until the end of Graham Rodger's spell as manager. Alan Buckley allowed Ravenhill to leave after only a few months and he signed a permanent deal with Darlington, after a initial one month loan at the Darlington Arena.
