Town Scout at Trials in Spalding

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 17/07/2007

PREMIERSHIP champions Manchester United and Grimsby Town head a list of clubs who will be sending scouts to a trials day at Spalding.

Burnley, Scunthorpe United, Leyton Orient, Bournemouth and Leicester City have also confirmed that they will be at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field on Sunday, September 2.p soccerstar are staging the trials for young, aspiring players who would like to progress and have the opportunity to become a professional player.

A spokesman said: "We have all heard stories of players not progressing because they have never been at the right place at the right time.

"Well this is your opportunity to show off your talents in front of Premier and Football League scouts."

On the trials day there will be games at every age group from under-nines through to under-16s.

There is only one game per age group so positions will be limited. The advice is to book early to avoid disappointment.
