Rutland Arms Pub

Galli-O-Meter: 4

The Rutland is situated on Grimsby Road (ie - the side nearest the Humber), right next door to Ramsdens and ideal if you're coming to BP from the M180 route.

The Rutland Arms is the home venue for every GTISC pre-match Saturday get together, and may even be used for pre-evening matches too.

The Rutland is a very clean and pleasant abode and laced with tradition.

From the tables outside the pub you can see the floodlights of Blundell Park, just 9 minutes away walking normally, or only 4 minutes away if you're running like a ref trying to escape a bloodthirsty (that should have been a penalty) Brian Laws.

Nice beer, quiet enough for a chat, not too busy on match-days, nearby parking, and being on the road to BP it's a good pub for visiting fans to nip to. Plus we all meet there.

Si Wilson

I would add a word in praise of the Rutland's mighty fine ales. The underrated Old Mill brewery supplies some lovely tipples (and they should get Bullion back on), and the Rutland seems to keep and serve them especially well.
