Cohen To Sign?

TOWN are trying to sign Gary Cohen. He is currently on loan from Gretna but Slade wants him become a Town player if his club agree and at the right price. It is unlikely he will be released on a free.

Mariners Net says; "The ex-Watford player has impressed during his spell at Blundell Park, playing out wide and up front. He has scored 6 goals in 17 league starts for the Mariners."

In other news Town are talking to defender Rob Jones about taking up the option on his contract which will end during the Summer, but it seems that Jones is willing to agree to the extension on his contract.

Talks are also at an advanced stage with 'keeper Steve Mildenhall about extending his contract before it runs out in the summer. There is no news yet on any additional signing at BP despite Slade confirming that he has not yet finished in the transfer market. One foreign player he was prepared to look at on trial, unfortunately dropped out through injury and it looks as if he has now been crossed off Slade's list.
