Phil Bonnyman away at Blackburn, he seemed to just float in the air in slow motion above their defenders, ball straight  into the top corner.
Was it Matt Harold who put one in straight from k.o. from over 20 yards and from wide of the goal

Anyone mentioned Gary Childs (one and only) header against (If I recall) Bristol City ? First game without Buckley after he'd hopped over to WBA. Town were roared out onto the pitch and responded in kind. Still see Gaz Childs patting his head in the celebration.

You have to remember he was in full disguise.   Hair down to his shoulders and a moustache which nearly touched the ground.

It was the 70's.

Tis true Dave, they never believe me in the barbers shop when I say I used to have hair down to my shoulders, now ofcourse it's a question of finding any to cut.

You are dead right we all thought we would have long hair for evermore,

but I lost a lot of my hair through heading the ball

Can you believe that, I will have you know that I am proud of the amount of headers I won in my carreer

I can never remember Briggs, I know I saw him play but I simply can't remember him.

He was past his best when we started watching town Icey,

I remember him because he kept my favourite player out the team most weeks, a young Ron Rafferty.
