The British Pathé has published loads of old footages.

Here is some from GTFC's loss in the Semi final against Wolves at Old Trafford.
The record attendance still stands. UTM

Amazing footage That crowd looks pretty horrifying though - they're so crammed in there!

That's brilliant, thanks for that.
People moan about the standard of football these days but looking at the footage from those games it reminds me of the half time entertainment we get now with the kick and rush 7 year olds, only in black and white.

Great viewing.

If you look carefully you can see Barralad in the crowd

Pretty sure my dad was at the game

He definitely told me about going away to one of the semis and about being pressed up against the perimeter barrier with nowhere to go and then it giving way.... seems from the footage it was probably at Old Trafford

People were seemingly squashed in like sardines back then but at least they were able to spill over on to the pitch when the pressure got too much...unlike in the 80s when everyone was fenced in

What great heritage the club has.  If only we can get out of this league and get a new ground, there's so much to build on.

If the Keeper hadn't got injured, who knows eh! So great to see though. Wonder how many went across from here what with very few people having cars.
