Simple compromise would be too let them sign an emergency keeper on loan, but it has to be from a lower division.

With us usually playing McKeown and filling the bench with outfield players, will Hurst reconsider our goalkeeping situation? Especially given Pearson (who is plan b) is walking the yellow card tightrope?

Apparently they're considering putting a CB in goal instead of a youth team keeper?

Isn't Norris the one they had in goal when we beat them in the league at the Abbey? He induced conniptions in their defence every time we attacked and was at fault for the second goal (possibly even the first too?).

Cambridge have form in this, they used an emergency loan keeper in the 2009 final: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/spo.....ambridge-United.html

I reckon John Beck or Dion Dublin are on the emergency loan committee.

So could it be a ploy with them making out he is injured but in reality they want something better?
That's my conspiracy theory. Rules are rules Mr Conference guy.
