Hi all, I don't post on here regularly as much as I read this forum but as much as ticks and crosses / likes-dislikes
do not bother me, it seems a bit sad that reputable users have ditched this forum due to the actions of silly inadequate
cyber morons. How about highlighting these people so the poster knows who they are just like Facebook.
Failing this, just scrap it and let one vent their feelings under their username.

Not so much the 'ticks' or 'crosses' that are the problem, but people that resort to name calling when they disagree with an opinion. Recently on here it's been a case of 'you either believe this or you're an idiot/not a true supporter'.

True DM, although there are better ways to put ones point across, at least
these people are not as anonymous as the red cross brigade!

Surely you shouldn't be bothered what others put? Generally, a forum is to there for people to put their views/thoughts across. If you stop posting because others dislike..well, seems a bit silly.

Whether my percentage, or whatever it is, is on 0 or 100% I'd still post what I intended. And if I got 60 dislikes on a post..well does it really matter/make a difference? That's the problem these days - everything is centred around on not upsetting anyone/ or what things look like. (In general life I mean..)

Nothing to do with egos. When someone disagrees with me I respect that and enjoy the debate, which incidentally is the whole point of forums.

Just because this is online and semi-anonymous doesn't give people the right to be abusive, insulting or rude.
