Great idea but would sadly never happen!!

Why is that?  Other clubs manage it and I'm not aware of any law that prevents it (unless it's specifically ruled out by the ground's operating licence).  Or do you think it's more down to the clipboard-toting/pen-pushing mentality of GTFC staff who don't want to think outside the box?

Just back from the club shop notices all over that Alfreton is completely sold out no chance of getting any more tickets also ticket going fast for the home game this weekend asked about the Osmond it wasn't confirmed but looks likely this game will sell out as well.

In which case the Osmond must be used makes economic sense got in the lower Findus but they are selling fast.

It's done for a reason.

If they open the gate & let through say 300 people, those that are in the Osmond, & have gone to the toilet, return to their seat to find some one else sat in it. Would be mayhem.

tickets are sold for a specific seat, to change seats at half time can't be done.

Well it can unofficially, most weeks in the upper smiths we sit alone as Town attack the Osmond, th  en suddenly for the second half were surrounded by fans who have moved from the other end. I see your point though I bet it happens quite often that someone returns to find their seat occupied.

Could one potential work-around be to have unreserved seating in the Osmond, to limit numbers to just under capacity, then make sure you count people in?

If people's expectations are managed and the club communicates well, then fans will cooperate and it will work.

Is this something Nick Dale can clarify for us?  Having said that, let's hope it's not an issue and we sell so many tickets the place will be full anyway!
