What a very apt day (Brain Tumour Awareness Day) for this announcement and to say thank you to everyone who has donated or been involved in helping me fundraise for The Brain Tumour Charity since my diagnosis. Once I tot up the total that I have been sponsored for this event, I have now passed the £15000 mark in money, raised through the various events I have been involved with, to help fight this dreadful disease. I say this on behalf of everyone we have lost and everyone affected by or still fighting this awful illness. One day WE WILL beat this.

Thank you all. x

Have sent £20 to you by Paypal, £10 for this and £10 for Pontoon Buster. Can you get Gift Aid and therefore an extra £2.50?

Well I hope that he continues fighting it for a long time more mate. Too many people being lost to this dreadful illness. I'm one of the lucky ones and will continue fundraising when I can, until they manage to find a cure.

Back home after a great evening yesterday. Met some great people and my best mate Dave surprised me on the day by letting me know he'd volunteered to be a steward/helper for the day, which was unexpected.

There were about 300 people who did the walk, it was a lovely evening weather wise and I finished the walk in the first 20-30 people.

Thanks to everyone who sponsored me, I raised a total of £904 but my Justgiving site will stay open for another couple of weeks so if anyone wanted to sponsor me now I've completed the walk, you'll be more than welcome.
