Ok so bare with me here, Big target man Darius Henderson has left Leyton Orient. Maybe because they signed Ollie Palmer today.

His goalscoring record is very good and he would fit the "big man" we have been wanting.


Previously based in Sheffield.

I'd love to see him at Town, purely for his experience and know-how but I'm fairly confident he wouldn't want to drop down to the conference. What a statement of intent that would be though!!!

Waste of time, but it's bugging me, who was that Swedish / Norway or Swiss or something striker who used to play at QPR / Watford, scored shitloads of goals, similar type of name, can't put my finger on it.

Probally too old now anyway. Can't remember if this player was at the O's, I wonder what he's upto now, anyone know who I'm on about?

Not a chance of Henderson coming, wages would be way too high and he is still more than capable of playing in the league. Very good player a few years ago though. Don't know how good he is these days.

Helguson was awesome in the air. I don't think he's that tall, but when he was at Fulham he scored loads with his head. Seemed to generate power from 'nothing' crosses and showed great precision too.

I said 'it amuses me how these connections are made'.
Explain to me how on earth that can perceived as 'aggressive'?!?

I have no problem. People seem quite happy to discuss it. All good. I don't care.
I do genuinely find it amusing - that's all I meant, especially when some sources will no doubt start to say that Town are being linked with Henderson, and he'll probably begin to get some invitations from Twitter.
