if you go thru Birmingham theres a 15 minute walk from New Street to Snow Hill station to get onto the Kiddy line....

we're getting a train from Tamworth to New Street , doin the walk , then on to Kiddy...

there's a real ale pub near the station according to the conference ground web site , which is good....

anyone popping into Birmingham I'd recommend this pub:

http://www.thewellingtonrealale.co.uk/

It's about 10mins from Birmingham New Street Station (if that). It has a huge range of beers and last time I was there they let you bring your own food in and had cutlery available.

I'm on the train from Leeds. Should be in Brum for midday and Kiddy for just after one. I think we're going to take a really big following - 1500+?

There's plenty of great pubs in Birmingham. The following are all a few minutes from New Street:

http://www.thewellingtonrealale.co.uk

http://www.postofficevaults.co.uk

https://www.brewdog.com/bars/uk/birmingham

http://www.thevictoriabirmingham.co.uk

http://oldjointstock.co.uk

This is nearer to Snow Hill and pretty sure it has a decent selection of ales:

I'm getting the 07:34 from Gy as I'm meeting a Southern based Mariner in Brum for a few drinks en route.
