In 90 minutes, we've lost just once since mid-February.

Quite astonishing really, given the last 15 years.

That is some fact - I can't remember now who we lost to?

Drove up from Welwyn Garden City yesterday, primarily to collect my renewed season ticket and purchase a seat for the opener at Kidderminster. Naturally, however, I took the opportunity to watch the Peterborough preseason 'friendly' to enjoy the brilliant 'new' GTFC. Last season I came up for the Doncaster match at about the same time to watch us being thumped 4-0. What a contrast with the excellent display last night! Like some others on here, I thought Town were 'thrilling' to watch at times and particularly during a real purple patch in the second half when their intricate passing movements left Peterborough looking hopelessly outplayed. Some say preseason friendlies are meaningless (usually said when their team loses embarrassingly!), but this is nonsense. Performances like last night 'oil' the rhythm of the team, raise the morale of the supporters and breed confidence in everyone, and not least me! For goodness sake you stayaways, this is the most exciting team Town have produced for many, many years-go and watch and be thrilled by the quality of the football on offer.

First pre-season game I've made it to and very enjoyable, great to see the team shaping more with each game. Amond is a real grafter and was up against some huge defenders but was equal to them, always looks capable of wriggling away from his marker, Marshall looks like he's going to make the most of his second stint with a proper footballing Town side, him and Arnold linking look to be a defenders nightmare.
My lad bought his new Town short and it was telling that he was deciding between Bogle or Amond for the name on the back and by the end of the game decide he only wanted Arnold No 20!

Arnold was terrific, if he'd been a new signing and had a pre-season like he's having we'd be going gaga over him.

That's annoying, Bogle's a letter and a number cheaper

Funnily enough, the club shop has run out of letter A's at the moment. So Bogle is not only cheaper but actually doable
