So our pathetic allocation has Sold Out and I'm sure I'm not the only exile who has missed out. Gutted really as the last 5 or 6 times at Lincoln I have been with no difficulty getting a ticket.

If anyone knows of anyone who has a spare I'm looking for one ticket!!

I will do if I can't get one in Town end, , guessing I'm not the only exile ticketless! Thought Lincoln would see sense and give us more.

Is it Lincoln who are in control of such a daft allocation or have the police taken control of this??

I find it so pathetic that I can't get to sit with my own fans in an away League 5 fixture!!

I'll be in the Lincoln end as I have been before. Expect there to be quite afew. Why  we cant be allocated a decent amount of tickets is beyond me. We could shift 2.5-3k

Christ you all wanted him sacked a few months ago. 6th place finish and he's now the messiah and can do no wrong
Update:  I think I've got this right - He was the messiah. He then wasn't. He then was again. Then it turned out he actually wasnt. He turned into one big huge messiah again. Now he's not actually the messiah we thought he was . Now I'm hoping he rises again quickly

As per the link above, @HarryHaddocks is tweeting three tickets going spare in with the Town fans. They are still available.

Lincoln have changed the way they allocate seats to away fans so can only give a maximum of what we have got. Ridiculous but there it is. For a team so deep in the financial  doodoo as they are, you would think they'd bend over backwards to get as many in as possible but they haven't thought about the one good pay day they might get per season and instead have reallocated the seats we used to have by the corner to home fans. Who won't turn up.

The big stand behind the dugouts, with the changing rooms in are in is probably the most unlikely to give hassle. I've been in there in the past when my ex father in law got free tickets for me. It's a bit like the main stand up there! If you're not an idiot you'll be fine. I wore Town colours once in there too. I might see you there....Not in Town colours this time though, something neutral.

Would that be the Echo stand and also is it pay on the gate? I fancy taking my incognito chances to see the game.

I don't think it will be to much of a problem. Last year it was mostly old men in flat caps. Don't think the stewards would want to remove any town fans unless they were causing problems.

I would suggest gathering towards the Town end, yes. I probably would do that if I were to go into that stand. Hypothetically...

Personally, I don't belive posting on a public forum like this that some people are intending to be in the Lincoln area is a wise idea. Maybe its just me and my pessimistic views on police/stewarding the match, and the less info out there for the police to read and be aware of the better! But having sad that, go for it, play it cool

I know this guy and he speaks the truth, his name is Liam Hearn and should be arrested on sight.

If it's the guy I'm thinking of, he gets his mate Bradley to smuggle them in for him !!

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Personally, I don't belive posting on a public forum like this that some people are intending to be in the Lincoln area is a wise idea. Maybe its just me and my pessimistic views on police/stewarding the match, and the less info out there for the police to read and be aware of the better! But having sad that, go for it, play it cool

Understand where you're coming from, but I think a more mature approach to policing football matches needs to be adopted - by all parties - in order for any progression to ever be made.

As much as the police, and media, like to try and stir things up, there is increasing evidence to suggest that this isn't the problem it once was. Falling arrest figures overall and an almost negligible number of arrests for violent disorder across the UK indicate that it's time to stop viewing every fan as a potential trouble causer.

Liaison based public order policing is on the rise on the continent, along with increased fan engagement, and Northumbria police have recently adopted the community policing approach to dealing with football fans. It's about time we did away with the attitude (amongst authorities) that fans sitting in a different stand are going to cause a problem, despite this never happening over the last decade to my knowledge.

Perhaps adopting this more reasoned approach to football policing will help encourage teams like Lincoln to increase allocations in the future, rather than hearing that away fans will be in the home ends and taking that as some kind of thinly veiled threat.

I'll not hold my breath though!

There were quite a few Town in the opposite side stand to where their fans were...

Snitch

There certainly were. And absolutely no hint of trouble. Even when we scored and over 100 mini cheers went up.
Town end looked and sounded very impressive.

No problems in the home end. Me and my mate were the only ones not standing after the penalty from what I could see, and I couldn't help myself when Omar scored. Had a quick chat with Scott Brown and saw Liam Hearn sat on his own looking a little dejected.

Nah ask the Lincoln fans, we've never had any fans in their home end and we think we're massive when we're not. We've also never made any noise in the history of our games against them whilst they are on a par with Fenerbahce.
