I am not against making changes to give players a rest but instead of changing the starting line up with the so called better players on the bench, I would much rather see us start with our best eleven, get two or three up and then give them a rest by substituting them.

Bring on the fringe players when the game is won.

Bogle is the new Lewis,he can play excrement all he wants and still be the second name on the team sheet.

This is, sadly but predictably, spot on

Bogle started very well imo very raw and plenty to work on but potentially a star in the making

Was my first home game on Monday and, watching Bogle warm up, he didn't miss a shot - very impressive. I know he slipped over a chance in the game but 4 goals in your first 7 games as a full time pro is a decent return and together with Podge's goals means that our strikers have already been much more prolific than in recent seasons.

PH seems to spend too much time worrying about the opposition and not enough in making them worry about us. He seems to set his teams up too much with them in mind. Put your strongest team out, make the opposition sweat and if it looks like it isn't working after 60 mins then make an adjustment. The Macc game was a prime example especially when it came to Dis. To bring him on with 10 mins to go, 2 - 0 down and expect him to turn it around was ridiculous. If he felt he couldn't manage 90 mins then bring him on for the first 60 and replace with fresh legs.

My point is not that he is excrement but that Amond is better (more the finished article if you like) and that given the choice between the two Hurst will always favour Bogle because of the hype surrounding him

Not sure how comparisons can be made between Bogle and LJL just yet, Bogle is pretty raw and possibly trying that bit too hard and he was also a bit of a scoring machine when we signed him albeit from a lower league whereas LJL's scoring record prior to signing for us was crap.
