Radio Humberside tonight reporting that Scunthorpe Utd have told them that they have been approached by a club asking about taking Wooton on loan. The approaching club were not named. Hursty said there was no truth in it (on Tuesday night).

Was thinking about what Hurst said the other night when i heard Tommo was going back to Barnet. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him come in and be a bench warmer/first sub for a bit of experience. Would suit both parties.

Yes we've got a bit of a dilemma bringing in a top striker as they and parent club will expect them to play. As soon as that happens and our boys still have their potent scoring statistics there will be the same backlash.

So a youngster out to prove himself might be handy to pad out the squad and not rock the boat.
