Talking of players I liked the look of their Winger Jeffries? he looked really pacey and gave Tait something to think about credit to Tait he did well to keep with him.

The thing is he was looking for a fourth striker at the beginning of the season, surely there are some clubs who would loan us a striker can't believe it is the mid of feb and he still has not found one.
This is one of his main failures, the inability the make timely changes to remedy weak areas, whether it be substitutions or bringing new players. We are losing ground all the times compared to our rivals.

In fairness to AB he earned that right through what he achieved. At the time we didn't know the financial limits he was on which were quite disgraceful.
Kind of reminded me of Cloughy, it was that era of that type of manager. Today's managers have do courses, gain qualifications, use computers, and the played part seems less important.
AB would tell the players what he wanted, PH says 'alright lads' before he gives 'instructions'.
I agree, I wasn't trying to suggest that those fans who wanted AB out of the club were right, just that managers should think twice before they even contemplate having a dig at the fans, AB wore his heart on his sleeve and was more far more agitated than PH has ever been so it makes me wonder what PH's motive is. whether to deflect criticism off his players elsewhere.

Good points, I guess people are taking PH comments as a bit of snidey remark, you've been spoilt so here's some excrement.

Horwood went off because he was injured. He took a knock in the first half & was limping when he went off.
Agree about their winger Jefferies, looked more than decent, defended when he had too, quick going forward. Worth a look?

Jeez, how many fecking players do they want? Being outgunned by them is probably THE thing i have hated most in the 5 years in this division.
