Bought mine over the phone this morning and I am now a little confused about mixed messages. Prices in the Carabao Cup article are the same for all stands with the usual Early bird options and Kids free offer. Over the phone, I was told the normal prices for different stands and chose the cheaper Main Stand. Perhaps someone was reading from the wrong list in the office or my envelope will contain a Lincoln ticket! Hope it's only me but I feel that others may also need to be aware. Not being negative but Scunthorpe are charging much less for adults tomorrow but kids are £2.

Really ? I am suprised you were suprised ... Devalue the product ..etc etc.. Its not like we played terrible in our last home game, are keen to get on a cup run, usually struggle to get half the normal gate on these Round 1 cup nights or have any other legitimate reasons why a promotion might be a good idea is it ?

Hasn't the pricing also got to be agreed with the opposition as they get a cut of the income for cup games?

It's not terribly proactive is it? Unless you've got kids - I'm taking mine but he's 24!

The club probably took their eye off the ball for tomorrow's night game with all the drum banging, advertising, and the massive sales push etc for the local derby on Saturday. Or perhaps not..........

get on board the JF train...jeez.....we shouldnt need to "sell" a derby game...if the fans arent willing to just turn up out of blind loyalty then we can always beat them up over it at a fans forum and blame them for not coming when they ask why we havnt made a marquee signing. Fking supporters...first wanting offers to get them to come to a game and then wanting the club to advertise games so they know when to come......if you were a true supporter you would just pay whatever and go to the trouble of finding out when we play for yourself....want spoon feeding some people

Blimey, the club is funded by 'supporters', the clue is in the name. Get your hands in your pockets and pay the players wages!

It's always full price for the League and F.A. Cups, isn't it? Not sure why anybody should be surprised at this!

£19 for the first round of the League Cup is ridiculous. Be it us, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, whoever.
I fully understand the need to charge an entry fee, fund the budget and all that. But £19 for a first round game against a less than glamour side (don't worry, Rochdale will feel exactly the same about us!) is going to put a lot of people off.
Cup gates shouldn't be factored into any budgeting. Tonight is a freebie really. Well done the club for doing the Free Kids tickets but I imagine the money coming through the gate tonight will be quite low.

To my knowledge the prices have never been reduced for the league cup or fa cup?

Not much above 2000 tonight I expect, I'll be there but £15 a head would have shown a bit of willing on the club's part.

You and I may think that BP Vicar but how many of the folk who streamed out early from the FG game will think the same. Lincoln fans going to Port Vale will have to pay far less. Many of those who went to Macc may not be able to afford three games in a week. It's the summer holidays and the £/ Euro rate may have a bearing in some households!.
