Pre match meal before we go to the Bescotski Stadium Warsaw. Let's beat our poor record there and get a win.

Anyone else on the train from Birmingham?

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.

Macca should of held it. Its wasn't the most powerful shot in the world but agree poor defending. Macca wasn't best pleased

Don't forget we are playing away from home so if we lose although gutted there is no pressure from me.  Some people need to be a little realistic.

You know what I meant hagrid....we just need to be positive and not go over the top when we lose away.  This team is different as i have confidence they will get a goal.

Our midfield needs a bollocking at half time not tracking back and following their midfield. If we did that these would be no issue. We've been the better side so far and ddeserved that goal.

This is definitely a game we would have lost in the past 3 seasons. Be interesting to see if we actually can drill home some superiority. I still have my doubts and think we’ll probably go on and lose, but either way, I do like this team, we’re miles better than the last two seasons in particular.

Get that ball in the mixer... With a bit of quality, we've enough big lads to cause any team problems from set pieces.

Sounds like we’re absolutely loving the sort of industrial football that we hated during the Buckley eras! Long may it continue....

Hanson is one of the most effective players we've had in years. Made a huge difference in our attack compared to last year with how many balls he wins and the set piece threat.

As it stands we are fourth in the table, three points off top.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Hurst is getting sacked in the morning not the Walsall
Manager 😂

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

It’s the first recording mention of Grimsby, I think it’s in Old Norse.

It says;

We have waded in mire for five terrible weeks.

There was no lack of mud where we were, in the middle of Grimsby.

But now away we let our beaked moose [their ship] resound merrily on the waves over the seagull's swamp [sea] to Bergen.

Massive difference this season is that when we do go one behind I don't automatically think "that's us lost that then " and kick the dog!!, Instead I'm sat waiting for us to score, not worried in the least as I know we'll score... definitely gotta give it to Jolley, he knew we were light up front and put all his effort into sorting that out but don't think any of us really knew the impact Hanson would have...tonight I raise a glass to MJ, AL, all the town squad and especially the fans....

It’s the first recording mention of Grimsby, I think it’s in Old Norse.

It says;

We have waded in mire for five terrible weeks.

There was no lack of mud where we were, in the middle of Grimsby.

But now away we let our beaked moose [their ship] resound merrily on the waves over the seagull's swamp [sea] to Bergen.

‎We hǫlet the wand clay weeks five main bars; ‎
‎the shears of product vant, the Vairs, the wood, in the grímsbœ ‎
‎middle. ‎
‎Now ' r that ' s Más of Ms Main Kátliga let‎
‎branda Elg on Waves bjǫrgynjar to virtue‎

Cheers.

That'll be why it's come out as gibberish* then! The amazing thing is it can actually translate anything at all that old. Put Old English in from that same period and Google wouldn't have a clue. Icelandic obviously hasn't changed that much in 1200 years!

*"We start wading clay for five weeks;

The fecal product is missing, ours, wood, in the center of Grimsby.
Now, it may be too overwhelming for the most vocal
burn moose on waves."

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

100%. I thought, judging each signing in isolation, that our summer recruitment looked ‘ok’. Nothing more.

Early days I know, but put it all together with the game plan Jolley clearly had in mind and it looks little short of sensational. It shouldn’t go unnoticed that despite our obvious direct threat, we still play some neat football at times too.

Kudos to all concerned so far.

I thought he was saying something about needing to go to Toolstation to get some parts to finish this job off with.
