Well, first prize has been won. Liverpool scored the solitary goal they needed to give Bartgtfc the win. Barnet who could have shared the prize with 2 goals, did score early on but could not add a second, so fell just short.
Co-incidentally though, if Barnet had scored a 2nd, then Bartgtfc would have had to share his winnings with.............Mrsbartgtfc!
There is still a game to play on Monday though and with Bradford scoring 7 in their away FA Cup tie, there is a very small chance that Northampton could score 8 at Oxford City, so I will wait until after tomorrows game before officially declaring the winners prize money. Chorley, despite scoring 2 today (90 minute score in cup games), still win the lowest score for Mike Roberts who wins £50. I will also announce the 2 random winners of the £30 prizes tomorrow from all the non-winning teams.
24 (4) Northbank Mariner – Chelsea BUST 23 (3) Crusty Ole Pie - Manchester United BUST
21 (1) Bartgtfc – Liverpool (WINNER - PRIZE £300)

Well Northampton got nowhere near the 8 goals they needed, so Bartgtfc wins the full £300 first prize.
I will announce the 2 random £30 winners in the morning.

Even without the lockdown pause it was the longest buster ever, running to 11 weeks. It's usually won in week 7, 8 or 9.

I have just done the draw for the 2 random £30 winners from all losing entries using my random number generator on my phone.
They are Nottingham Forest (LauraH) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (Grantham Mariner).
A big thank you to all those who took part. Well done to the winners and unlucky to those who failed to win a prize. We will have a 2 or 3 week break and then I'll put the feelers out to see if there's enough interest to run another game this season.

Well done to the winners and well done to you Les. You run these bits of fun and charity money makers with great efficiency and charm. I'm sure there is a better word than charm, but I can't think of one. I did have one when i got Wimbledon, but I have forgotten it.
