The first one is easy.  We all love GTFC but which teams do we like and which team do we despise and why?

When I lived in and around London I watched footie at QPR and Brentford if town weren't playing down south.  Once at QPR while i was queuing up a bloke asked me if I had a ticket.  I told him I hadn't and he offered me one.  I asked him how much and he said that it was on the house.  His made had paid for it but couldn't go.  I also like Brentford and Charlton, the latter for the way they treat their fans.

Who do I hate?  Everton, Sheff Wednesday for reasons I am not sure about.  I also loathe Crystal Palace because every time I've been to Selhurst Park they have stuffed us. One of my most hated teams though is High Wycombe despite the fact that I lived there and have loads of mates that support them. I used to watch them when they played at a shitty ground called Loakes park with a slanting pitch.  Then they got really big for their boots. I saw us there once I went with a very good friend so we were in the home end.  I think a 1-1 draw was a good result for both of us.  I have to say though that the new ground is pretty good.

I love Grimsby Town, I don’t hate any team but I’m no fan of Lincoln City

Man. Utd- every time the opponents get a free kick half a dozen players surrounding the ref and when it's a free kick for them the same half a dozen screaming for a red card, as if done to order. Other teams do it to a lesser extent but they are the experts

Hate’s a bit of a strong word for it but I really don’t like the attitude of the hierarchy of Stevenage for obvious reasons. It’s fair to say they’re scum though.

Soft spots for Wimbledon, Brentford who I see as a sort of Town of the South, Hampton & Richmond Borough who I used to watch fairly often when I lived over that way. Orient and Charlton are OK too. Bristol Rovers got some reason too I’m not really sure of. If I lived up north then I dare say there’d be a more northern bias.

Portsmouth have dropped right off my preferred list. Fans ok by and large but they sold out to that Mickey Mouse bloke from Disney in the belief he’d be the answer to their problems.

Don’t like Gateshead from non-League days for their play acting. Oh and FGR for their stewards appalling behaviour that sparked the inflatables game invasion of Barnet.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Dislike : Real Madrid - spoilt feckers expect everything on a plate, historic fascist-regime team.  MK Dons... obvious reasons

Never understood why anyone would want to “hate” a team. On a scale of 1-10 of likes Town score a 10 for me and Man U score a 1.

GTFC inbred & can't help it -  though as an exile I have watched Chester more. I am not a great Premiership fan yet appreciate the skills & will watch it on TV - however will happily forego that if out with the dog & see a local league/kids game going on. No hates but at the ticket office whilst working out of Aberdeen I was refused entry on the grounds that I didn't declare my allegiance to either side involved & had just come to watch a game of football - still irks. I just enjoy my footy.

Great shout on Gateshead - odious outfit. Their playoff final defeat got me punching the air far more than I ever thought a non league playoff final (not involving GTFC) would 😅

Not sure what division they're in these days though.

Other dislikes would be the obvious shouts - Man U, Leeds etc.

Like Port Vale, born and bread in Stoke and Mums side of the family are Vale fans.
Hate Stoke for obvious reasons seen above plus the added bonus of all my friends crying when they lose ha ha ha

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

Forgot to mention Hanoi.  I support HCMC and Hanoi are as corrupt as hell.  The owner, has four other clubs in the same division.  How is that supposed to work?  When they won the league they had one away game ready and their opposition said they could play the final game in Hanoi, so they could receive the trophy at their ground. Fortunately, the V league put their foot down and said told them to pee off.

I've an affinity for Armenia Bielefeld having spent a lot of time there in my younger days. I've lived in Manchester for 30 years now and my wife and most friends are Manure fans but I still take great delight in seeing them lose!

Are Ho Chi Minh City Ho Chi Ming City City or Ho Chi Minh City United?

How do people get to own football clubs there. Has Vietnam become another of those fake communist countries that are really authoritarian capitalist countries like China?

I'm amused that you hate Everton but don't know why - I see Everton a lot because I used to live up there and my best mate is a season ticket holder at Goodison. Watching Everton is like watching Town but with a much bigger crowd: same self deprecating sense of humour, same feeling of inevitability that however good things are it's all bound to go mammaries up, they love 'one of their own' above all and the same 'it doesn't matter how sh*t we are, we'll be here next week'.

In the couple of seasons when they seriously flirted with relegation (with the likes of Duncan Ferguson, David Weir and Alan Stubbs in the team) it was just like being at Blundell Park as we plummeted through the leagues.

One final example of Everton supporters: my mate dreads cup draws because he is scared to death of Everton drawing Town and having to face me and the possibility (however remote) of humiliation at our hands.

Miss Scunthorpe. Not a beauty pageant, just sound advice.
