Woodgate has been sacked by Middlesbrough and replaced by Neil Warnock.

A long way from that new house in Devon.

Considering they are neck and neck with Hull for the last relegation slot I'm hoping he does a good job there.

Warnock will never retire will he? He'll pass away on the bench having just shouted a last instruction to a  player

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

More likely to a referee!

When asked on TV if he would take a job like Ollie he repled.

I would not have gone to Cleethorpes it's too cold.

Well he is in for a shock Middlesbrough is colder

I think a great appointment for Boro - probably exactly what they need right now.   I am not particularly a fan of Warnock but at that level his record is impressive.

As for it being cold or not - maybe he is just hoping to keep them up and then head back to Devon once the seasons finishes in August!!

Boro in Feb is probably not for the feint of heart

He only needs a handful of games to get 1500 up so wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just till the end of season as a rescue act .
