Probably like a few things has been pushed back a little

I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing. The only difference was I was printing my own - Mickey Thomas

The area you are trying to protect at corners is the goal - Chris Kamara

I once said Gazza's IQ was less than his shirt number and he asked me: What's an IQ? - George Best

I hope they’ve not gone for some whacky collar like they usually do. I really like the blue one from last season, the look and the feel of the different material  - a black and white version like that will do me.

Other than an income stream seems little point of having a "kit" at the moment until the club can actually play some football. Just wish the EFL/FA   would make their minds up and get something announced.

Judging by the crowds at Bournemouth beach yesterday I’d say there’s justification in starting League 2 as normal with no restrictions......

Isn’t that the very point right there? We can’t very well sell tickets right now; outside of gate receipts and associated income streams (hospitality, food and drink etc.) you’d imagine shirt sales are the next biggest revenue source for clubs.

At the very least it’s something tangible that the club can sell whether people choose to or not. I’m personally not one to wear football shirts as I go about my business, but I’d buy one.

Might actually be a piece of good financial planning from the club in not releasing the kit just yet. Fans are putting money the clubs way in the form of shares, crowdfunding and other bits, if they release the shirts now then people might spend their money that way instead and then in 3-4 weeks the income dries up. This way fans may end up spending more long term by donating now, and then buying a new shirt next pay day. It’s just a theory anyway.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"
