Let’s hope they’re more in the West Ham than the Scunthorpe variety.

Could be wrong but I get the feeling the likes of Salford and Mansfield rushing in hoovering up the so called better players early could be a  big mistake.

There will be some quality players available in the current climate at the right price if you bide your time.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Has Gnanduille, ex Blackpool, signed for anybody yet?

He would be a cracking signing IF Ollie could get him to sign for us.

We've been in for him before I think. He's a target man, just what we need as I think Ollie will play three up front so it's going to have to stick centrally. Also, how many games are we going to get out of Hanson? Agree he would be a cracking signing from what I've seen of him. Usually plies his trade a league above and in his prime.

From what ollie has said before i think the fromt line will be built around Hanson- im a big fan of his- but as you say, can he guarantee you a full season, sadly i think the answer is no

I think Gnanduillet has a bit of pace too so he could potentially play alongside Hanson. Don't think too many defences would handle that!

The same Gnanduillet that scored 15 goals in league one last season? Not a chance of us competing for his signature.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

I saw him score quite a few goals on Skysports news and he is a real handful; he looks very mobile and obviously has an eye for a goal.

But he plays for a club that our manager left nearly 8 years ago, so it's pretty much a done deal.
