Southgate said he played 3 / 5 at the back in Russia as it suited his squad, but his ideal formation was 4-3-3. I like him, but I’ll admit I don’t have much faith in him. The way they set up against Denmark was far too negative, and this looks similar. However, Grealish is in, so let’s see if he takes his chance.....
