EFL clubs have voted to reject the £50m bailout from the PL.
Apparently this bailout included a host of unacceptable ‘strings’. Absolutely disgraceful that the Premier League are holding us to ransom like this.

Never had one. Vowed I never would give that girl private Murdoch a penny. I even feel bad about watching Town in the pub back when we were a second flight side and had the odd live game on the telly.

The only reason I can find in the press release for the rejection is that it did not include the Championship clubs in the proposals and the 72 were standing together.
Are there other strings attached I've not seen?

I agree and have never had a Sky or BT subscription, but the majority of those that have couldn't give a toss about the EFL. I have a nephew who calls himself a Man Utd fan and has never been to Manchester, never mind Old Trafford. The likes of him will never give up his Sky TV.

Talk of them wanting more say in the scheduling of games, the fact that some of the money is an upfront payment of TV rights we’d already be getting and part of it only being offered if we actually are about to go bust, not before! I firmly believe that the Championship aren’t included due to the PL wanting to start to separate off the Championship to form a PL2. Stinks from top to bottom and shows the scumbags up for exactly what they are.

My only hope is that all this now really sets the tide against the Premier League , while they have been all powerful for so long and the clubs have been happy to eat at the top table the big project power grab has woken up the "lesser" clubs to what has been happening all the while the Premier League has been ongoing. Every man and his dog can now see them for the absolutely greedy sneaky b@st@rds they are , whereas a united premier league could bat off most criticisms and the Championship would largley be behind them too as they feel they are just one good season off joining them these could be the cracks that start to crumble it.
If the 72 outside of the top flight and the 14 other teams in it are starting to gather then maybe there is a chink of light.

Has it actually been rejected because of "strings", or is it just the fact it's only L1 and L2?
According to the Times:
The £50 million offer was for £20 million in grants to League One and League Two clubs immediately, with the other £30 million in grants and loans available to ensure that no club goes out of business as a result of the pandemic. Unlike previous offers, there were no conditions attached, such as backing the Premier League over its curtailment plans and over work permits for overseas players.
