Very pleased to inform that the final figure (minus JustGiving fees) is

£6,686.85

A fantastic effort by everyone who either donated and/or helped to share on social media. We managed to get it mentioned on TV and across many newspapers across the land, and had donations from as far away as Australia, the west coast of Canada, USA, and several countries in Europe.

Thankyou to you all.


I just now have to try to get hold of Ollie again to see which charity he wants it to be donated to. He should have called me on Monday, but knowing him, he has lost my contact details.

Edit: I have been to see Ollie at Cheapside today, and fingers crossed things should get moving very soon.

Maybe people were vexed that Olly can’t keep hold of a phone number of somebody who is about to give him nearly £7k of (kindly donated during a pandemic) money that he can donate to charity?
