The word trust has been massively over subscribed on here today but, realistically, for the wrong reasons. There is now no trust between the fans and (loosely speaking) the board.

Whatever the motives for Alex May’s involvement with the club, it’s clear that John Fenty is prepared to deal with whoever whether it’s in the best interests of the club or not. As for the fans, we are a means to an end. Loyal (or stupid) enough to carry on paying for mediocrity on the pitch, fanatical (or crazy) enough to raise six figure sums when the club most need them.

What do we get in return? A pat on the head? A thank you? No. More contempt.

I think the contempt expands beyond GTFC this time...it’s contempt for the voting public of NELC.

Away from GTFC this is still not ok. Reformed or not, for a man who appears to pride himself on honesty, he’s found himself in bed with the exact opposite...in what world do do you get involved in property developments and work with a bloke who’s served time for fraudulent activity, in that very area of work?
