Grimsby Town Bitcoin Fund Collective Might be a stupid idea, might not be. All of these notions of a fan owned club might well have something in them, but I think I might have a way to maximise something like a 100GBP investment in the future of GTFC. If we had 5000 die hard fans who would 100GBP(total 500,000GBP) to a fund that invested in Bitcoin, liklihood is that by the end of 2021 it would be worth 2.5m (conservative estimate). Won't go into the details of bitcoin, if you know what I mean, then you know wha I mean and maybe a group could put something together in terms of a presentation/explanantion for those who don't? For those of you who already believe in the power of blockchain tech, maybe we could discuss the idea further? Thoughts?

Not sure Town supporters are ready for cryptocurrency, some probably still have Green Shield stamps.

Your right I’ve no clue about how this works but I keep repeating 2000 people donating £500 raises £1m and as the consortium are willing to pay Fenty in 3 instalments if we raise the £1m they pay the first instalment and he’s gone. Surely to god there are at least 2000 town fans who would gladly pay £500 to see him gone?

You might well be right, sir, just putting an idea out there. I am sure we might be able to access the power of the Green Sheild at some point. I still hold a gift voucher for Best the Bakers down Suggit's Lane from 1973. It is covered in icing sugar, but I think that is beside the point.

Absolutely. The other way would also be to do this through maybe the Trust ( if we can get to a point where they are trust-ed ) and take the money against a future season ticket should any takeover actually happen as a result , that way there is also some kind of purchase/ incentive.

I think that you will find that nearly all of these Bitcoin offers are scams. Do a search before you commit any money to one of them. https://www.which.co.uk/news/2019/11/beware-this-celebrity-bitcoin-scam/
Sorry if there was some misunderstanding, but I wasn't talking about a scam. I know the sort of thing you mean, but you also get those in your email from the 3rd prince of rhodesia every day, too. I was talking about Bitcoin.
