I feel for the Villa kids tonight especially with Liverpool picking a pretty strong line-up, hope they don't get hammered.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I never get this

When I was a 16-18 year old, I would have done anything to play against one of the best sides in the world. Even if I lost 20-0. I would always have that memory and take the positives from it.

Pay back from Klopp for what Villa did to the Liverpool kids last season i'd imagine.

You also have to remember that a lot of these Villa youngsters won’t ‘make it’. And those that do might end up on the ploughed no-mans land of Cheapside or Scunthorpe Reserves.

This might be their only chance to play in front of a large TV audience, against the 2019 European champions and current PL holders.

Some of these lads might not make it at this level but I’d imagine almost every single one of them earns more than any of our lot can dream of earning...

Suspect Covid is a lot more contagious than cup fever this weekend.

Tonight football.  Charlton. No Bogle in starting line up or sub. Is he injured or not in favour.

Enjoyed that the Villa lads did very well until their legs gave way.

A night they will not forget .

Depends what team spurs put out 5-0 can't see Marine scoring.

If Spurs are really up to it the score could be 8 to 10-0

Years ago they played Crewe away and drew 2-2 then at home they won 13-2

Would love to see his face if that happened but spurs reserves will still win easily I think.
