Just had a look to see on their Twitter feed. They are getting weird abuse from Liverpool, Leeds and Oxford fans. Odd.

Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

It needs to be early. I am planning on leaving my kitchen to my front room at 14:45 and I don’t want a wasted journey.

Ha ha, very good.

Wouldn't it be wise to leave 15 minutes earlier, in case you get a puncture in your slippers?

I will be drinking alcohol in view of the pitch

Is that cos you’re not allowed to plug your laptop into the “big TV” or because you just prefer a bit of peace and quiet in your man cave?

Pitch inspection? Jeeze. I have a massive two steps to take from my sofa to my computer chair, not to mention having to switch the PC on!

Slightly off subject, I wonder if I follow subscription will rise today?

Because I should get left in peace by Wife Of as long as I go down and make her a cuppa at halftime, anyway my den TV is way bigger.

Just left!

Decided to do a pub crawl on the way to the game and using persil vouchers on the train track I’ve made for my lad this morning.

Expecting tannoy announcements all day from the station manager and probably miss the last train home and have to sleep on the station bench (settee!)

That takes me back. My son, my wife's brother and me used these to travel to see Grimsby all the way from Surrey back in the 80's. When we got to Cleethorpes we found the game was off and there were loads of Barnsley supporters milling around with nothing to do. At the time I felt sorry for them having travelled all that way - and then realised I had travelled nearly THREE times further.

I always find the Fridge on Old Scullery Row accommodating. Always popular with the lads who like their lager. If you prefer ale though there’s the ‘Cupboard Under the Stairs’. Bit cramped at the bar but the lounge is OK. If you like tapas with the missus  you can get some nice stuff and a decent bottle of red at El Mesa de Cucina.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

FFS.

I’ve just got to the doorway to the hall and had my ‘tinnies’ for the journey to the lounge confiscated.
Apparently due to ‘intelligence’ received Mrs Civvy has put a banning order on alcohol being consumed between the kitchen and the lounge until 1730 tonight.  Looks like I’ve of to wait till I get there for a beer.
This. Is going to be the longest 12 seconds of my life. 😉

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'
