9 points from the next 4 games is a distinct possibility. We could be in a slightly better place come the end of the month.

Or it could be worse...or the same.

On the 1st March I was optimistic of some points. P 4, max points 12. W 0,D 2 & L 2, 2 points and 2 goals for, 4 goals against. As positive as I am it doesn't bode well, but come tomorrow my optimism might shine again!

It’s so much easier if you just accept that we are going down.

Well it’s certainly a Shakespearean tragedy. Or at least a Carry On version. No prizes for guessing who is played by Kenneth Williams.

“Infamy! Infamy! They’ve all got it in for me.”

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

The problem is that we had a string of 4 or 5 very winnable games in December. We won 1.

We had a string of 4 or 5 winnable games in January/February. We won one.

We have just had two very winnable games. We won zero.

Sorry, but I have heard it all before.
