I do wish that sometimes abbreviations wouldn't be used. I've spent time wondering what the Ordnance Survey, OS, maps had to do with Town. Nick Dale, never heard of him, So what has ordinance survey to do with Nick Dale on a Town forum site. No Idea!

Cut, paste. Ah, it's a Town employee. Pleased for him, but OS. Old sh!t is probably me!!!!

It's not a promotion , it's a sideways shuffle....in a last act if penny pinching JF has moved him to work alongside Dave Moore undertaking those "minor"  operations that the club normally have to refer to specialists , cruciate ligament, resetting breaks etc...hence "Operations Manager".
Nick beat off several contestants in a knockout format of the classic board game Operation , JF was delighted to announce
" after a tough hands on interview process Nick beat some excellent candidates, one a former hospital porter, after 3 rounds of Operation, Nick only buzzed the nose once whilst trying to remove kidneys, but as we dont see kidney operations as coming under his brief then that didnt really matter ".

Dave Moore was unavailable for comment at time of going to print.

Never met the bloke personally but given some of his high profile p.r disasters I am surprised he is even still employed.
