Rumer has it that the  day the deal went through to sell 5 star fish JSF asked for another £2000 for the fish still in the factory, and asked if he could still turn up and sit in his office !

Well, Fenty has form for moving the goalposts at the last minute.

He did it the first time round, didn't he? I'm sure there's an account from the consortium somewhere that said they'd basically agreed and then Fenty just pulled out, then went to the media declaring they couldn't stump up the cash, or something.

As I understand it, they're continually stumping up every single penny Fenty wants, and yet still I get the impression, when it's time to go, he just can't walk. Not even for a totally undeserved £2.5m.

It's an awful thought, but do people think that Fenty has put his oar in and said the he still wants some involvement with the club or the deal is off?  Can he still do that?
