Tonight is very hard to take, gutted just as most fans are on here. In reality what happened tonight was going to happen next year and is down to John Fenty. Not just this season and his notorious consistent bad judgements but the total lack of any sort of investment in GTFC.

In any business, you have to invest. Standing still is not an option but we didn't stand still we went backwards and have now returned to the NL. Fenty owns the club, still, and he oversees all expenditure for training facilities or lack of them, recruitment of players and managers. He appoints them all from the worst to the bad and woe betide spending money on quality, it didn't happen, ever.

1878 should take over on the 5th May and what a glorious day that will be, whether it rains or shines. It will beckon a new era for the club and fans alike. What has been said about the new owners is all positive so the future should be rosy without the Fenty constraints put on the club.

A new vision of hope is there for us to see as in a new training ground. The budget for next year for Hurst most surely will be better than a Fenty budget and remember that for a new player coming to Town the albatross of Fenty will be gone; given reports by ex-players. Sometime in the future, a new stadium may be built which will only enhance the clubs' image

The futures looking good, it's Black and White and a return to the league will be the answer.
