Indeed, and speaking of waves, whilst the UK seems to be steadily emerging from the Covid crisis there are still no guarantees as to whether crowds will be possible come August. Personally, I'm optimistic that they will however I would imagine people will still be a little more reserved in parting with their cash than they would in totally normal times. I agree that timing, pricing and policy have to be right however that's a tougher job than usual for so many reasons. A smooth sea never made a skillful mariner.

And all because of the impending new regime. The club really needs to be on the ball here. I’ve got a mate who supports Oldham. He says they normally sell about 2,000, yet they have already sold 1,600 for next season! It’s April. That would blow John Fenty’s mind.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD
