Never really a fan of going back for ex-players but this is definitely an exception I'd be willing to make.

Should never, ever have been allowed to leave the club in the first place.

Losing both Disley and Pearson that summer ripped out the heart of the dressing room.

This would be my view and I still wouldn’t be convinced he was a starter but PH trusts him and can be relied upon which is what Hurst wants from players...

His wife is from GY. I believe they still own a house here. From what I understand, there was talks about resigning him a few years back, Pearson was all for it but Michael Jolley decided against it.
