Can't really argue with that. Goals are important. Someone should let PH know.

Damn it... what are you saying? Didn`t anyone tell him? We`re f***ed...

It's technically possible to win the league by scoring about 30 goals. Win 30 games 1-0 and draw a few 0-0.

Won't happen I know but you get the drift.

You’re right, but we need to score a goal nearly every game on average, which means some we’ll score more as there’ll be several when we don’t score.

Take the point that we’ve done well when we have several players on 9/10 goals but I can’t see this squad doing that.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

We haven't got a natural goalscorer and we need one asap....It's not rocket science.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Win some corners and we have a decent aerial threat.  Not so pretty but Pearson et all will knock some in.

You're getting sarcastic replies to this, but you're right.

However PH knows, he's openly said he wasn't another striker, so with the season still 3 weeks away, there's not reason to panic over 1 pre-season defeat

Perhaps that's why PH hasn't got a name on the number 9 shirt.
, or even No 7.

We've still time to bring the TWO forward players we NEED in. But the question does need to be asked why they aren't at Cheapside and settling in.

I would love us to re-sign Charles Vernam and Kabongo Tshimanga. Easier said than done I appreciate. I'm sure PH and the CEO will be doing their very best to bring the required quality in, if we have to pay more than we'd like then we must do that.

Appreciate it's easy to spend other peoples money, but we are short and there is only one automatic promotion places up for grabs, can we agree we are past the point of aiming for play offs in this league under the ownership of the unmentionable?

Please enlighten us with a realistic solution.

We all know that the hardest working manager with probably the healthiest pre season budget we've had whilst in NL is sat around on his @rse doing nothing about brining in a couple of strikers. Clearly your insight will give the experienced paid proffessional the jolt he needs.

Hurst knows what we need and will be all over it, let him get on with it.

I’d not be at all surprised if Pearson does not start the season in the first 11

Pearson didn't score for Wrexham in their last two national league seasons
