You say it as if he’s shirking?

I imagine he’s absolutely devastated to be injured. He’ll be one of our low earners and has a real chance to be a starter in this league. The poor lad is probably desperate to play.
I imagine he’s just very unlucky, I’m not sure if it’s a recurring problem, but I hope his bad luck ends soon.

Certainly don’t think he’s shirking but you wonder whether there’s much chance of Max making a long run in the team which surely must be imperative this season in order to get a contract renewal. There’s plenty of others who we seem to be paying for sitting on their hands.

I don't know what the issue is with him but he definitely didn't have any injury problems as he played almost every game for Boston. I think he was training full-time with us through the week plus 2 nights every week for Boston.

Definitely make or break for him which is a shame because fully fit, he is an excellent player.

Is Max Wright actually worth the wage he’s being paid? Yes I think he has talent and he’s certainly very very quick. Therefore presumably it’s thought within the club that he could be improved with coaching and turn into a decent player. However he’s permanently injured, he was out for nearly the whole of last season. I just don’t get it how a very fit young man constantly picks up injury after injury. I’m getting to the stage now whereby I think it might just be worth us cutting our losses. Thoughts please.

I think the people at St. George’s have told him the exact problem and it appears his body is struggling with the demands of pro football , a real shame cos he’s definately a player when fit

No I doubt he’s shirking but the club is not a charity is it?

so do we have a list of all the players injured and what's wrong with them?
Khouri , for example, why hasn't he figured at all?

Understand the sentiment behind the comments about Wright and I completely agree that it's make or break for him.

But somewhat harsh and probably simply unfair to even hint that he's doing anything but busting a gut to get fit and play.   To my eyes it's a clear shame that he can't cope with the rigors of the game rather than anything else, especially when you compare it with some of the genuine shirkers we've had in the building even in the last 12 months.

Haven't seen any updates about what type of injuries or how long they're expected to be out? With maybe the exception of Lenny.

Have i missed something or is Paul playing his cards close to his chest?

Yeah exactly, you can tell he wants it when he does play. I was buzzing for him when he scored on the opening day vs Morecambe a few years back as you could tell how much it meant to him. Really hope he can get himself fit.

I think the only thing max is guilty of is probably training to hard almost needs reigning in I’m told , his passion for the club isn’t questionable

Bad example, khouri played against clee and Rotherham.

Like another poster stated, think PH has deliberately mentioned just the number of injuries but not who or how long.
