It’s not all bad news.
Just imagine how many more would have been going if it wasn’t planned for TV.
How many rail fares ( non refundable ) would have been shelled out.

I’m a bit drunk off as hotel is non refundable.  But at least it’s in London. So the weekend away is still on.

And to put things into perspective.

Right now, I’d rather be a frustrated Town fan than a resident in Kabul.

I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Not sure if it has been changed but since the start of the Covid epidemic you've been able to get your money back on advance tickets when you can't travel. I'm claimed my money back a couple of times when normally the tickets would have been non-refundable.

I go to virtually every away game only ever by train via advanced tickets bought at the station.
The rail networks can be criticised for much but I have never found changing times/dates or getting refunds a problem - including for several games already this season.

I wound humbly suggest that a fair few more would  have gone regardless of our allocation if it wasn’t on TV.

My Premier Inn room in Bromley has been cancelled . I have a FULL refund , as I have cancelled 3 days prior to the booking... I was driving so not lost out  there...  was just SOOOO looking forward to going.... sigh
