Are we likely to get any Stockport highlights on the Official GTFC youtube?  If not, will they be available elsewhere?

It really is an utterly ridiculous rule isn’t it?

Wow, that's a shocking decision right there - the lightest of shoulder barges you are ever likely to see. Welcome to the Conference.

Glad the cameraman had enough tape to catch the wave after wave of sustained Stockport attacks and gilt-edged chances throughout the first half, as described by some.

Two balls flashed across the box and a pea roller from 25 yards was it? Lordy Lordy.

Absolutely not a foul from this angle. Looked like he tripped over his own feet.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

What a poor excuse for a ref .he needs demoting for that decision.  the member head just does not understand the meaning of a foul

Looks to me like the player knocked the ball on and then threw himself on the floor, ref blew instantly probably already had the whistle in his mouth waiting for the guy to go down. If there was any contact it was minimal, at most their defender was muscled out of the ball and only reason it was called is because he took a dive seeing he lost his man.

We were robbed.

I would say I’ve missed these refs but they weren’t much better in L2. Although you’d think even the worst up there wouldn’t see a foul there.

Yep, no idea why the goal was disallowed. Looked fine to me.
Take my bias off, and it’s still a good goal.

Got it in one. Was right in front of us and you could see the ref gearing up to give is it as soon as everyone realised what was about to happen. He was doing it all night, anticipating where a foul might happen and blowing up as soon as there was any contact. Apparently Henshaw even picked up on it doing the radio commentary.

It was pretty obviously a foul. He pushed him in the back with both hands, then tripped him ,elbowing him on the way down and whilst he was screaming in genuine agony trod on his head and called him a cry baby. ALSO just before he shot he handled the ball - he should have been sent off for dangerous play. My son is a good referee and I thought he handled the game very well with no bias whatsoever - ask any of his neighbours in Stockport.

Galling to see a perfectly good goal chalked off, but what a finish it was. He looks full of confidence and hopefully his scoring form continues.

Two games, two classy finishes and what should be 6 points.

Is that the GTFC highlights or is there just one issued by the league? Didn't think there was much to choose between the teams.
Very soft to disallow the goal but he blew immediately so maybe he saw something we couldn't see?

That's the next "Twit of the Week" sorted then.

I just cannot believe how a foul was given there, that was a fantastic finish by McAtee as well, he’s going to be a great player for us.

That disallowed goal is a shocking decision.

A fair shoulder charge if anything.

As the refs this season are suppose to be allowing a bit more contact he obviously never received the memo.

Amazingly nothing was made of it in the commentary - they sort of indicated he put the ball in the net when it was obvious he had committed the foul so I never thought more about it.

Looking at the incident there it was an outrageous decision. What on earth is the striker supposed to do - not even challenge for a bouncing ball?

Surely the Town players should have pressured the ref? Imagine if that had happened to Salford? Their players would have made sure the ref "corrected" his mistake later on in the game!

I assume the highlights are from GTFC's video crew as these are the Stockport highlights with commentary.

I was in the stand opposite the camera and nearer to the away end and, so had a good side on view and I knew as soon as the defender went down that the ref was going to blow for a foul. Minimal contact yes, but that’s the game today where players go down at the slightest touch. To be honest if it had been against us, I would’ve expected a free kick.
