Word got round that it was running at Kelso with another locally owned horse called Pottersville, and that the owners had chartered a plane, such was the confidence they were going to win. Loads of people I worked with piled in and the pair duly obliged at 6/4 and 10/1 if my memory serves me correctly When I went to collect, the bloke behind the counter at the bookies in Cleethorpes looked on the verge of tears!

I remember seeing it win at Southwell at about 5 or 6/1. I don't remember it pulling up any trees. Think there was a stablemate called Up The Iron although I obviously paid that no attention!
