And the ticket office.. Exiles only get the choice of standing tickets.
Easy link to Bristol and London so hoping a few exiles make it. I'll be going from Taunton. UTM

Rail replacements back to London on the Sunday though if anyone was planning an overnighter like I was initially.

Just got my ticket £16 with no booking fee/service charge. Fair play, Weymouth.

Long trip with the fuel prices I think its a good effort to anyone who goes. I'd of considered it but can't afford it now.

For the firstt time ever it's cheaper for me to go by train. But that'd mean leaving at 8am and getting home at 10.30pm whereas in a car It'll be 12 and 7pm

Take the train and spend the difference on beer. Everyone’s a winner.

The Southern Exiles have a few on parade. Train lands 12pm into Weymouth from Bristol, nice 3 hour cross country jaunt

I'm going with my eldest, so I'll look at meeting up with the SW exiles.

Considering doing this myself; taking the wife and kids with me to limit the earache. Thinking of travelling down to one of Bristol or Bath on the Friday, down to Weymouth on the Saturday and then a couple of nights there before driving back up on the Monday. Would be nice if the sun fancied coming out a bit, too.

A few fun stuff for the kids to do in the area. Maybe worth looking at getting a caravan for a weekend? Plenty for the kids to do during the day and night plus very close to everything in Weymouth.

Monkey World is ace. Nearly as good as the museum across the road,

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
