Just seen JMDs strike with his shin over the bar on the highlights show - much better angle to see it than from the away end - amazing to get be able to get the ball over the bar from that close. After a 4-1 win I’m sure he won’t mind buying the round for the whole team as his “fine”…

He’s a clever player though, he reads the play really well to get into that space.

Made up with it for the cross for Clifton's goal - just lovely movement from him out on the wing to make space for the delivery, and hung it up superbly for Clifton to head home.

To be fair, on the highlights show, they said it was a freak miss the ball seemed to bobble up just before JMD got there - they said he’d probably never be able to repeat scooping it over from there if he tried.
Won’t stop the pss taking from his team mates tonight mind…

That was quality delivery from wide - really pleasing, and great to see those moments of quality delivered throughout the side today, in contrast to Chesterfield whose only bit was a well executed training ground move.

That Holohan strike was huge but is even further out than it looked at the game.

What a way to take the lead…

Good noise but why do our fans insist in singing at a million miles an hour?

I suspect t the reason yesterday was sheer jubilation.

Totally agree. Good to see him throw off the shackles and enjoy himself. He deserves it. Looked like he was enjoying himself conducting the fans after the game too.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Cant stop watching this, especially the Matt Dean angle, love everything about it. My mums first game of the season yesterday, she ain't too steady on her feet nowadays and needs a walking stick at all times, but she looks remarkably able-bodied as she's jumping for joy at the end of that video   Gavan Holohan, healer of the masses?

There’s also a chap, just above the left goal post, clapping quite vigorously for about 5 seconds out of respect for the goal.
