I cant say I have taken any notice previously but saw that, potentially, Town might have double the number of home fans at Kings Lynn tomorrow.

Is that/has that been a common occurance for Town or can anyone remember when we last outnumbered home fans at an away game.

v Wimbledon at Selhurst Park 2002/2003 season.  ?  Only about 1300 there and there were far more Town fans.

Definitely against Alfreton on bank holiday Monday 2015. We had two and a half sides of the ground from memory.

We’ll be doing it two games straight against Kings Lynn and Barnet.

The Wimbledon away game at the old Plough Lane ( year of Harry the haddock) gate was around 15k and I’d say at least half were town.

Wasnt there a game against lincoln that was about half and half, when we was in the big stand along the side instead of behind the goal, mightve been the colbeck corner goal game

It might have happened as recently as weymouth away, but dont think they released the official away attendance. Maybe that's why!?

It's not that uncommon in non league with ourselves, Wrexham, Stockport, notts County and others having big away support

Back in the league there was a game vs Boston a decade ago maybe which was about 1500 each?

Alfreton and welling.

There’s been a few when we’ve nearly matched teams but it’s rare…

The original post states we may have 2/3rds of the crowd tomorrow, not sure if that’s what he meant or whether it is likely tomorrow but I don’t think we had that percentage at Weymouth did we?

FA Cup game v Wimbledon definitely we had the big open end full and half the side stands - Wimbledons home end was no bigger than the Pontoon. A few games in previous promotion seasons - Halifax 89 Mansfield, Rotherham 81. Donny at the old Belle Vue before they went into the Conference. Scunny inthe League Cup at the OSG and in the JPT. I’m sure there be some from the 71/72 season but before my time for away games - Scunny and Donny perhaps?

But Lincoln have always had 8,000 home fans, even in the darkest of days when they had that guy in charge because he put a tenner into the playing budget....

Liverpool 80 must have close to half and half on a 49000+ gate, that many towns fans, a few had to make do with the Everton v Aldershot game.
How often have Liverpool & Everton played on thesame day and kick-off?

It's not confirmed yet. The press seem to be putting it out there but Jason told Matt Dean on Friday that him and Debbie don't have a clue where it is.

I can’t remember if it was 78-79 or 79-80 but we were playing Doncaster near to the end of the season. Our average home gate was 10500 in 79 -80. So an hours drive drive or train was easy.
We had fans in three of the four stands that day. Not all full but certainly outnumbered the home fans by at least two to one.
I remember thinking how much better our ground was.,  How times change.
