Let's hope he isn't out for long, especially if we reach the play-offs.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Suggestion seems to be a dislocated shoulder.

3 more wins will see us guarantee play off spot, extend the season and I reckon give McAtee a slight chance of playing in them, so long as there’s no complications.

When I broke my shoulder no amount of pain relief could relieve the pain. Like Croft said on the radio though, if it's been put in place on the pitch it shouldn't be too bad. Croft said he had to go to hospital when he dislocated his and was out for 5 weeks.

Hopefully it's just a week or 2.

I can’t see it being less than 4 weeks personally if it is dislocated. It’s not the worst thing in the world if he’s back for the playoffs, bit of a rest for him etc but the worry is it kills our momentum

Is that correct? Another 9 points would take us to 78. If Dagenham won all their remaining games, unlikely as that may be, they’d be on 80.

I make it for wins to guarantee it, but happy to be corrected.

You’re right, I just don’t think Dagenham will win every game

Years ago I was playing cricket at the BP ground in Hull, was fielding on the boundary, went for a specular catch driving full stretch with one arm, got my hand to the ball, fell to the ground, which was as hard as concrete and pop my shoulder out.  I was in agony, was taken to Hull Infirmary A&E by ambulance, gas and air helped a little with the pain.  Had to wait in A&E for hours, when the doc came to look at my shoulder, it pop back into place on its own. I was playing again in the midweek league after it happened, by the way stopped the six, think they ran 10.

I used to chase eggs and based upon seeing it happen to others on numerous occasions if McAtee had dislocated his shoulder I find it hard to believe he wasn't taken to hospital or at least the ambulance for it to be put back in.
